LMA Website Gets a Makeover

The LMA (League Managers Association) has experienced some dramatic changes in the structuring of the company over the last few months. The decision was made that the time had come to update the LMA brand – at which point Digital Marmalade was called in. With little resources available and a need for this ‘facelift’ to make maximum impact, this was no easy task.

The LMA felt that the time had come for the organisation to modernise its aesthetic. Firstly, a new logo was developed and the site was re-designed in line with this. The dark, brooding look, which we offset with classic pitch-green makes for an interesting visual presentation. Whilst it holds true to the traditional image of the game, it also looks fresh and inspired. The website is now ready for the changes that will undoubtedly fall upon the LMA and the game over the next few years – you can see for yourself  by clicking here.

DM took this design change as an opportunity to present some aspects of the ‘Manager Profiles’ in a different manner. ‘Managerial History’ now consists of a full and detailed career history which includes job dates, awards, and clubs. The ‘Honours’ tab now features the achievements of the managers in a much more organised manner – the user can easily review a manager’s pedigree by clicking on just one button. For instance, did you know that Sven Goran Eriksson has won five European club trophies, six League titles and six other Domestic trophies during his club management career?

These changes to the website have undoubtedly streamlined the user experience, as well as giving the LMA a fresh new look which has brought it right up to date!
